How do you fix a scar P3? ›

If your SMOK SCAR P3 still isn't vaping, try removing and reinstalling the atomizer coil. If the coil isn't fully seated within the pod, that should resolve the issue. If reseating the coil doesn't resolve the issue, it's possible that the coil has a manufacturing defect. You should replace the coil.

It's likely that the battery is simply dead. If the battery is fully charged – or you're still unable to vape after charging the battery – the next thing that you should do is check the pod. If the pod doesn't firmly touch the connections inside the chamber of the SMOK Wave, the device won't work.

You can reset a SMOK vape by simply unscrewing the tank on top of the mod and then screwing it back on top; when this is done, the mode will read that a coil has been detected and will ask you if this is a new coil or the same coil resistance of your previous coil by asking 'Is This A New Coil?'

When you get the “No atomizer” or “Check atomizer” message, it means your mod doesn't think your tank – or more specifically, your coil or atomizer head – is attached to the connection point. You'll see the same message when you try to fire a mod without anything attached.

Simply put, ohms is a measure of electrical resistance or how freely electricity is able to travel. Lower ohms will produce more heat and this will affect vapor production, throat hit, temperature of vapor and flavor. At an experiential level, LOWER OHMS: Will run hotter, producing a warmer vapor.

One of the most obvious, yet still very common, reasons why your vape isn't working is because it has run out of battery. Even if you think it is fully charged, this might not be the case and, simply put, if your vape device is out of battery, it won't turn on.

Inspect the battery contact; it may be clogged or coated. If this occurs, wipe the contact portion with a Q-tip soaked in rubbing alcohol, let the terminal dry, reconnect your cartridge to the battery and try it again. Do NOT overtighten your cartridge. Make sure your battery is turned on and fully charged.

Most mods can be reset to factory defaults by removing the battery and pressing the Up and Down buttons together.

Flooding and gurgling usually arise when the coil is oversaturated with e-liquid, resulting in an excess amount of liquid within the coil. In such a situation, the amount of e-liquid is overwhelming to the coil, and the heat is incapable of vaporising all of the liquid that is present at that time.

Don't Overcharge Your Vape Battery

Batteries have a limited capacity for how much power they can take on. By leaving your vape plugged in when it's reached its capacity (fully charged), that extra power doesn't do anything.

To carry out this method, simply submerge your atomizer in some isopropyl alcohol for 30-60 minutes. This will cause the hardened dirt to become saturated and it will break down and pull away from the atomizer when you wipe it down with your cotton buds.

SMOK Ohms Too High or Too Low

Error messages about ohms are specifically related to the resistance of your coil(s) and indicate that a coil is not compatible with the device. Typically, pairing the proper SMOK-branded coils with your SMOK device is the easiest way to fix this problem.

Most ignition coils should have a primary resistance falling somewhere between 0.4 and 2 ohms; however, refer to your manufacturer's specifications for the correct reading. If a reading of zero is displayed, that signifies that the ignition coil has shorted internally in the primary windings and needs to be replaced.

Resistance, symbolized by the (Ω) symbol and measured in Ohms, is a measurement of how well a current can travel through a circuit or a given path. A circuit with no resistance (0) would indicate a complete circuit, or one that has no short.

Don't panic! A flooded coil is easy to fix. Unscrew your tank from the battery and position the mouthpiece over some tissue or a sink to catch the drops of e-liquid. Either tap the tank a few times to clear out the excess e-liquid, or blow down the central airflow tube (with the mouthpiece positioned away from you).

Resistance protection: when the atomizer resistance is lower than 0.1 ohms or higher than 2.5 ohms, the LED light will blink 4 times and the battery will automatically shut down the output.

How do you change the mode on a vape battery? ›

Typically, most vape pen batteries with a button turn on by clicking it 5 times. Most variable voltage 510-thread batteries will switch voltage settings by clicking it either 2 or 3 times rapidly.

All you will have to do is remove the cart from your battery and gently remove any visible clumps of residual oil or other blockages with a paperclip, floss pick, or alcohol wipe. Simply locate any visible "air holes", such as the mouthpiece, and carefully clean them.

The crackling and popping you hear from your e-cig is completely normal. It is caused by your vape coil. Remember you are dealing with an electrical device that is doing several things at once as you vape. As you draw on your e-cig, e-liquid is pulled into your atomizer head.

A pod vaping device, or pod begins gurgling because excess e-liquid is caught inside the pod's atomizer coil assembly. There's more e-liquid than the wick can hold, so you begin to hear a bubbling or gurgling sound when you inhale.

Just like any rechargeable battery, vape batteries are sensitive to overcharging. If you leave your e-cigarette batteries charging overnight, it could cause them to deteriorate in quality over time, meaning they won't hold their charge as well, and they are at a higher risk of becoming damaged.

If you are a light vape user, you should expect a fully charged battery to last you far longer than 24 hours. If you are a heavy vape user, you should expect to charge your device every day.

The Scar P3 offers the choice of two refillable 2ml pods. The RPM pod is compatible with Smok's entire range of Smok's RPM coils while the RPM2 pod and compatible RPM2 coils provide pin-sharp flavour. The Scar P3 kit contains an RPM pod and an RPM 0.4 Ohm coil, as well as an RPM 2 pod with a 0.16 Ohm mesh coil.
