The Scarlet King (Djoricverse) (1)

With the war declared, the King took Sanna by force, and lay with her for seven days and seven nights, until the Mother of Those Beneath Us was broken beneath the King. When this was completed, he rose in her blood, and was from then on known as Shormaush Urdal - the Scarlet King.

Summary

The Scarlet King was born with the planting of the Tree of Knowledge, then called Khahrahk. Though small among his siblings, he alone possessed self-awareness, bringing him great pain. He decided existence itself was painful, vowing to annihilate everything. He started by consuming his siblings, growing more powerful through their essence. After eons of battle, Khahrahk had killed, exiled, or subjugated every god in the Darkness Below. He named himself Khnith-hgor, the King of the Darkness Below, and designed his domain to inflict misery on his subjects and steal souls from afterlives. Khnith-hgor declared war on Creation, meaning to fight until the end of everything.

To support his war, Khnith-hgor raped Sanna, the wisest and most beautiful deity he'd subjugated, for seven days and nights and sired seven daughters on her. This act of violence killed her, and covered in her blood, Khnith-hgor renamed himself again, becoming Shormaush Urdal, the Scarlet King. He took his seven daughters as his new brides, sealing them so they would not die as Sanna had. The Scarlet King sired many Leviathans with his new brides, these abominations becoming the soldiers leading his war. Many others also served him in this war, including Jeser, Moloch, and The Hanged King.

The Scarlet King's daughter-brides were named A'tivik, A'ghor, A'distat, A'zieb, A'nuht, A'tellif, and A'habbat. Though their personalities, roles, and children varied dramatically, only A'habbat resisted her father's attempts at breaking her spirit. Instead of contributing to his war, she secretly raised her children with him as heroes opposing him.

After the Scarlet King manifested himself on Earth, he granted immense power to the Daevite civilization, leading them to serve and worship him and conquer in his name. When the Daevites approached the valley of the People of the Two Trees, guarded by Nahash and Hakhama, the People's protector Hevel set out to fight them. After many years, the Daevites used Hevel's vanity to brainwash him into Ab-Leshal, causing the once-noble hero to swear allegiance to the Scarlet King. He led an army to destroy the valley, killing, exiling, or enslaving everyone. Set, the third son of the chief Adam, escaped and established the Tzadikim Nistarim to wait out the Scarlet King. Following the valley's destruction, Hevel became ashamed of what he had become and started a slave revolt against the Daevites. After killing the Daevites' idols, Hevel challenged the Scarlet King, who accepted and manifested before him. Before they could fight, The All-Mighty caused the Flood, resetting the universe and removing the Scarlet King's influence from Earth.

In modern times, a cult known as the Children of the Scarlet King performed a ritual on seven kidnapped women, turning them into effigies of the Scarlet King's brides and impregnating them with Leviathans. After SCP-231-1 died giving birth and caused mass destruction, the SCP Foundation intervened and detained the six other women. Five of them later died giving birth and caused ever more damaging catastrophes, leaving only SCP-231-7, A'habbat's effigy, a girl named Grace. The Foundation implemented Procedure 110-Montuak to keep the last Leviathan inside her, developed by the scientist Robert Montauk.

Eventually, the Scarlet King's forces captured Emma Aiselthorpe-Brown and brought her into his court, but she broke free. She slaughtered her way through his Leviathans and freed A'habbat from his Seventh Spear, who escaped with it and rescued Grace, who had given birth to her Leviathan. Emma then tried to challenge the Scarlet King but got swatted aside, and he left her broken in the Abyss.

After the Flood receded, a misled Foundation researcher cast SCP-140 into the ocean, summoning the Daevites into the present. They called forth the Scarlet King and his armies from the Pit of Megiddo, beginning Creation's last war. The Brothers Death opened their halls and led the dead forth against his armies. Though the Scarlet King succeeded in burning Creation and making Yesod his throne, the Tzadikim Nistarim managed to break his invulnerability seal before dying. Harker, Saturn Deer riding SCP-2845, Set, the Empress of Antarctica, Grace, A'habbat, Isabel Helga Anastasia Parvati Wondertainment V, and Emma then arrived, Isabel having rescued Emma and everyone except SCP-2845 and Emma wielding empowered fragments of his Seventh Spear. The final battle broke out, and the Scarlet King killed everyone except Isabel and Emma. Emma then sacrificed herself to propel Isabel into an opening to incapacitate him, the heroes having impaled him on all seven spear fragments. With the Scarlet King defeated, the Small Death slit his throat, killing him once and for all, and his corpse sank into the depths.

Attack Potency: High Outerverse level (His war against Creation turned the Noosphere in on itself when SCP-3125 was present in it.[1] He was the last standing, alongside Isabel Helga Anastasia Parvati Wondertainment V, in a multiversal war with SCP-3125 involved that destroyed the Library.[2] Implied to have broken off seals SCP-3125 set on him, although it's unclear if this event applies to this version of the character[12])

Speed: Immeasurable (Comparable to SCP-3125), Nigh-Omnipresent in his abstract form (Exists as a law of the Cosmos present almost everywhere,[8] although he doesn't reach the furthest parts of the Tree and remains banished from manifesting in a lot of the known Cosmos)

Lifting Strength: Immeasurable

Striking Strength: High Outerverse level

Durability: High Outerverse level, Immortality, Acausality, Regeneration, Transduality, Nonexistent Physiology, Resurrection, Incorporeality, Abstract Existence, and Invulnerability make him extremely difficult to kill (Could only be killed by the Tzadikim Nistarim breaking his invulnerability seal, the Power Nullification of the seven fragments of his Seventh Spear after Set empowered six and Isabel wreathed the seventh in "oldest song", and the power of the Small Death[2])

Stamina: Infinite

Range: High Outerversal (His war against Creation affected the Noosphere[1] and destroyed the Library[2])

  • A'tivik, A'ghor, A'distat, A'zieb, A'nuht, and A'tellif: The Scarlet King's six loyal daughter-brides, who all birth Leviathans for his army. Each of them wear a seal of the same type as him, making them invulnerable to other beings on his level.
  • Seven Spears: The Scarlet King possesses seven spears he uses to keep his brides restrained by piercing them and pinning them down.
  • Lance: For his standard weapon, the Scarlet King wields a lance that can harm beings on his level.
  • Optional Equipment:
    • The Ur-Blade: Created when he was still named Khahrahk as a tool to fashion the Law of Blades and thereby generate duality to jumpstart the multiverse, the Ur-Blade is the concept of a blade fashioned into a white-hot device sharp enough to pass between quarks.

Intelligence: Supergenius (Created the concept of blades, manifested as the Ur-Blade, a device advanced enough to let him create the Law of Blades, thereby birthing division and the entire multiverse[3])
