The Scarlet King
The Scarlet King vs the King in Yellow: SCP vs Cthulu Mythos (2)

vs

The King in Yellow
The Scarlet King vs the King in Yellow: SCP vs Cthulu Mythos (3)

Location: Gravity Falls Weirdmageddon

Both are as they are regularly depicted

both have their standard equipment and abilities, and both are in character.

Motivation: The King in Yellow has arrived but before he can commense his business with his brother that soon awakens, the Scarlet King must be dealt with.

EDIT
Scenario 1: SCP-001 (Tufto's Proposal) Scarlet King

Scenario 2: SCP Djoricverse Scarlet King

Scenario 3: SCP-2317

Scenario 4: SCP-2747 or SCP-6747-C

As for The King in Yellow, gets the original works by Chambers and H.P. Lovecraft, any summary material published afterward that stays within the set character, but expands upon him should be allowed. I won't pretend I know every or most Lovecraft's works or the stuff published in his name, so I'm trying to make it as fair as possible.

End EDIT

victory Conditions: Death or submission

who shall win and who shall fall?

While this is a pretty cool concept for a fight, wouldn't this count as Fan Fiction? Hear me out. SCP is obviously a collection of contributors, but it's coherent enough and located in a single place that you can make a reasonable case towards what feats any given SCP can accomplish. The Cthulu Mythos is incredibly cool but much worse about what feats any given entity has. There's the core books which have almost no feats at all for the King in Yellow... then you've got a disparate collection of stories that are pretty much all over the place, in a much more scattered and de-centralized way.

Hastur is able to create city-destroying storms, create mountains, make plants grow faster, bless normal humans with good luck, and turn normal humans into sheep. He's also stated to be able to 'destroy the world,' but as a Great Old One, is weaker than Cthulhu. Luckily as a Great Old One, he has some standard(?) abilities. Said abilities include 'never truly dying,' universe-level clairvoyance, manipulating the dreams of normal humans, interplanetary spaceflight, and regenerating with extra-dimensional matter. Cthulhu, who's stronger, has regenerated from boat-level damage. The famous 'resurrecting when the stars are right' of the Great Old Ones isn't applicable to this vs debate because it's one of Cthulhu's spells. Also, the Great Old Ones' ability to make normal humans go mad is iffy because it doesn't seem to be passive and is likely the effect of their dream manipulation.

Honestly, the Scarlet King seems more impressive.

Edit:

  • SCP-001 (Tufto's Proposal) Scarlet King is a living idea beyond all other versions of the Scarlet King. It's able to spawn/create other versions of the Scarlet King and has some narrative manipulation.
  • Djoricverse Scarlet King waged a war over the multiverse, the higher-dimensional universes of the multiverse, and the Noosphere; which is even higher. So, his army is really big. On his personal abilities, he has seven spears that strike from higher-dimensions, a sword that's the embodiment of the concept of swords, is able to do SCP-verse magic, multiverse-level information and heat manipulation resistance, and tussled with the Noospheric instance of SCP-3125.
  • SCP-2317 fought off a horde of extra-Noospheric ideas, and so scales over the Djoricverse Scarlet King.
  • SCP-2747, or its instance SCP-6747-C, destroys multiverses, has body and soul regeneration from the higher-dimensional Constant of Anafubala, temporarily killed the extra-Noospheric instance of SCP-3125, and trapped the SCP-001 (Tufto's Proposal) Scarlet King in a tower of multiverse-level narrative layers.

The different versions of the Scarlet King, from strongest to weakest, is SCP-2747/SCP-6747-C > SCP-001 (Tufto's Proposal) > SCP-2317 > Djoricverse Scarlet King.

Edit 2:
It could be argued that SCP-2747/SCP-6747-C isn't a version of the Scarlet King, but I'd like to think that it is. I mean, both embody the concept of anafubala and have other similarities.

Edit 3:
SCP-2747/SCP-6747-C destroys multiverses with information manipulation. SCP-2317 has really good physical strength and information manipulation resistance.

Define which version of the Scarlet King before this debate can even start. There are several.

I have edited the OP to hopefully help with defining these 2, any suggestions or assistance would be greatly appreciated as I was just trying to find a fair and interesting match up.

It's not fair no matter what version of the Scarlet King you use. Literally every round is multiverse and higher-level Scarlet King vs mountain to planet-level Hastur. And its iffy on whether Hastur is even planet-level.

Scarlet King stomps very hard every round. Or just ignore it nothing else, the king in yellow is not able to affect it.

Edit: sorry for my bad spelling
